World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic' arrives on June 1st



World of Warcraft Classic players will only have to wait a few more weeks before they can play (or revisit) the Burning Crusade expansion. The expansion, which arrived in the original WoW in 2007, will add two more races you can play as (Draenei and Blood Elves) along with more zones, raids and instances. You’ll be able to venture to the Hellfire Peninsula, a wasteland where demons and fel orcs freely roam. Blizzard plans to add content gradually instead of dropping everything it created for Burning Crusade all at once.

Before the expansion goes live, you’ll have a decision to make. It’s up to you whether to leap into Burning Crusade, move over to a server with the current state of the game or clone your characters so you can keep playing both. The first two options are free, but there's a fee for the third. Following the rollout of a pre-expansion patch starting on May 18th, WoW Classic will ask you to make your choice.
